Problem with Windows 10 Creators + Intel RST + ASUS P8Z77-V Deluxe

Hey guys,

I am having problems getting Intel RST to work with Windows 10 x64. I fresh installed creators update 2 weeks ago and even previously on my 7->10 upgrade install, I can't remember RST ever working. I have tried various versions of RST and all throw up the error message below where I have the option to Abort/Retry/Ignore

ASUS doesn't seem to have RST available in their driver downloads for Windows 10 for my motherboard https://www.asus.com/us/support/Download/1/39/7/8/OVCFmLeMZdeMER8x/45/ ASUSTeK Computer Inc. -Support- Driver & Tools - P8Z77-V DELUXE I have tried the Windows 8.1 version and older versions in compatibility mode but I still seem to get the same error as above. Does anyone else with this motherboard have RST working or know how I can fix the above error?

I have tried every possible combination of drivers of RST/MEI & chipset drivers that other people with my board have tried with success:

I can only put this down to Windows 10 creators update & Intel RST not being compatible with the Z77 chipset. Keep getting this damned error

In regard to your inquiry, I looked in our web site and there is no an RST version fully compatible with the platform you are using. I don't know if that is correct. I have been running RST on Win 10 for a while. This is a new issue and we are having the same error as Kouneloz

Kouneloz, I just wanted to check if the information provided previously was useful for you and if you need further assistance on this matter? The reason why we advice to downgrade to Windows® 8.1, is because the chipset that your board has which is Z77, is supported on IRST version 12.9.0.1001, but as you can see Windows® 10 is not supported on that specific version:

Alberto, unfortunately downgrading to Windows 8.1 is out of the question. In my second post, there is a link where other Z77 chipset users confirmed RST was working for them under Windows 10. Creators update for Windows only came out earlier this month so perhaps a compatibility issue? I tried every single version even in compatibility mode and was getting the same error message so I'm not surprised that other people on Windows 10 creators are seeing the same issue.
