i7-4770R - Max. safe operating temp. for 24/7 use?

Hi,

I have a system with an i7-4770R, running Windows 8.1 x64. The machine is a Gigabyte BRIX Pro

When running CPU-intensive tasks (all cores 100%), temperature monitoring tools (HWiNFO, HWMonitor) report core temperatures of 100°C max. with Turbo Boost enabled in BIOS. Also, the CPU starts throttling to 3.4 GHz.

If I disable Turbo Boost, then core temperatures at 100% load are 94°C max. (3.2 GHz)

However, the machine housing and exhaust do not feel particularly hot...

• Are the temperature readings -using aforementioned tools- for this particular CPU accurate?
• Would it be safe (for longevity of CPU & system) to have these temperatures 8 hours/day, or even 24/7?

I've been told that this CPU can handle core temperatures up to 100°C perfectly fine.

Japanese's testing proved the point the 4570r's Power consumption is much better than A-10 7850k. they said BRIX Pro 4570r's max power consumption is 80-90w ,but i don't know the max temp,so i;m sorry i can't help you

some Chinese businessman told me Gigabyte BRIX Pro 4770R have the Version that have no fan on radiator.

maybe i should buy one to see whether i meet the same problem

I understand cpu temperature exceeds maximum readings.

Have in mind your processor model can handle temperatures up to 66.45°C.

This means you may have a problem with your software readings or you need to update BIOS for your computer.
