Need recommendation for a Desktop processor + Board for a home lab setup

Hi,

I am looking for recommendations for a desktop processor & motherboard that supports Virtualization technology. I will be using this machine to run VMware ESXi/ESX 3.5 to prepare for certification. Can you please recommend one.

After some search on the web, i noted down

Intel Desktop Board DQ45CB (LGA775, Intel Q45)

Intel Q8400 Core 2 Quad Processor

Is this Virtualization enabled ?
