i7 2600k only showing 2 cores! help!!!

I just installed my i7 2600k into my new custom pc and it shows on cpu-z that i only have 2 cores running, windows task manager shows the same thing. I dont know what`s wrong so please help. Thank you! (:

Run > MSCONFIG > Boot > Advanced options > Check Number of cores and choose 8. (Or if checked already, try unchecking it.)

It work for me so it should work for you to!
