Thanks really high! I went into bios. My CPU FSB voltage is 1.40v..and its in red.

My CPU core voltage is 1.45000v

I did not mess with voltages, nor do i even know how to...so why are my voltages so high? Did intel program in voltaages wrong. My CPU temps are 28C idel, up to 49C on 100% load.

Sonny..It would help more if you list all your BIOS readings..Motherboard mfgr, CPU Stepping ( GO or B3), Overclocked ?, all the voltages, memory, etc..But anyway, your voltage is NOT high, it's perfectly fine, don't worry about it..1.5 is the max according the Intel..See the Processor Spec Finder: http://processorfinder.intel.com/List.aspx?ParentRadio=All&ProcFam=2774&SearchKey= http://processorfinder.intel.com/List.aspx?ParentRadio=All&ProcFam=2774&SearchKey= Your temps are excellent too dude, no worries..The thermal spec for the B3 is 62.2C and 71C for the GO..I have my Q6600 GO stepping at 1.536 (actual, GPU-Z)..But i'm overclocked to 3.6GHz.. My temps are around 37-40C at idle and around 58-65C stressed out..Sleep easy.

Have changed CPUs recently...?

I would Reset the BIOS. I have a Q6600 G0 running @ 3.6GHZ / 1.4625 Volts

So if your running stock 2.4GHZ your vlotage is a bit to high, this will cause heat issues.
