I'm using a notebook which has a Core Duo CPU (T2250 1.73Ghz, 533 Mhz FSB) on the chipset 945GM and an Integrated VGA 950. Now, I want to upgrade the current CPU to a higher one and I want it to be a Core 2 Duo so what Core 2 Duo I can use for the upgrade? Thank you

Hi Hk,

It would be great if you could kindly post your motherboards' model number so that we can tell you exactly however 945GM chipset supports http://www.intel.com/support/processors/mobile/coresolo/index.htm Intel® Core™ Solo processor and http://www.intel.com/support/processors/mobile/coreduo/index.htm Intel® Core™ Duo processor.

I would still encourage you to give us your exact motherboard model number so that we can check and confirm the compatibility for you.

My notebook is Acer Aspire ANWXMi 5572ANWXMi of Aspire 5570 Series. CPU-z show the mainboard model is Aspire 5570.

Thanks for reading my post! The note book is Acer Aspire 5572ANWXMi of Aspire 5570 Series and under the Mainboard line (shown by Sisoftware Sandra) I could see Aspire 5570. Would you tell me what Core 2 Duo that I can use for the upgrade?
