If, only via mDP or is mHDMI + mDP also possible?

4K/UHD @ 60Hz is only possible by using mDP output, the mHMDI output is "HDMI 1.4" so 4K/UHD is limited to 30Hz. This is the case for the NUC6i5SYK.

The NUC6i7KYK aka Skull Canyon NUC features a mDP 1.2 and a HDMI 2.0 output, so this might be the product you are looking for

Hello:

Thank you very much to Loeschzwerg for the information posted previously.

To inteljehavno:

I just wanted to confirm the above information, as it was mentioned, the Intel® NUC6i5SYK NUC supports 4K dual display configuration but is limited to 30Hz.

On the following link you will be able to confirm that information, page 23:

http://www.intel.com/content/dam/support/us/en/documents/boardsandkits/NUC6i5SYB_NUC6i3SYB_TechProdSpec.pdf http://www.intel.com/content/dam/support/us/en/documents/boardsandkits/NUC6i5SYB_NUC6i3SYB_TechProdSpec.pdf

Also, here is the link for the Intel® NUC6i7KYK NUC, where you can verify the dual display configuration of it, page 18:

Any questions, please let me know.

Thank you.

I already bought the more silent NUC 6I5SYH. Considering another one, haha

However, I am also interested to know if it can handle simultaneously over HDMI and mDP two mmonitors at 2560×1600p/60 Hz?

According to the table in theTechProdSpec (thanks for the link - I wish I had it before;) it can handle:

3840 x 2160 @ 30 Hz (DisplayPort)

3840 x 2160 @ 30 Hz (HDMI)

So am I suppose to deduce from the bitrates (ouch! - thats Math) that if it handles these it handles also what I need? This:

2560×1600 @ 60 Hz (DisplayPort)

2560×1600 @ 60 Hz (HDMI)

Hello inteljehavno:

In regard to your inquiry, if you use 60Hz on the HDMI port the max resolution that will be available is: 1920 x 1200 @ 60 Hz (HDMI), as you can confirm on the following link, page 23:

http://www.intel.com/content/dam/support/us/en/documents/boardsandkits/NUC6i5SYB_NUC6i3SYB_TechProdSpec.pdf http://www.intel.com/content/dam/support/us/en/documents/boardsandkits/NUC6i5SYB_NUC6i3SYB_TechProdSpec.pdf

You might be able to set up 2560×1600 on HDMI but not at 60Hz.

Any questions, please let me know.
