Hello

im trying to find a clear answer to that question,

i have contacted intel support before asking the same,

but the employee and i didnt get further then the

sheet 1, page 84, 7.10.1, Table 7-4

where it states max SVID is 1.52V

im using that number in a forum as maximum vcore for the 3770K,

but people say that it is wrong, and SVID has nothing to do with Vcore,

all i want is a clear answer to my question once and for all..

if any of the "official" intel people can help me with this,

or anyone else that have understanding about the maximum vcore a 3770K can handle, and why,

please help me with this

thanks in advance

/message/174944# 174944 What is the maximum Vcore a 3770K can run? 1.52V vcore?

guess its hard to answer this question,

i still like to know tho, or any other insight on this matter,

its a question 1000's of people ask here and there,

and noone can really answer it, because Intel doesnt state it anywhere clearly,

so many people who answer, or try to answer the question, use 1.52V vcore as maximum,

and then say, intel states that..

in my search for correct answers to questions, i found out that Intel doesnt state it anywhere,

except the VID range thats in the data sheets,

i really hope someone can help with this,

or at least explain why maximum vcore is related to the VID range in the data sheet,

thanks in advance
