Hello TommyRank:
In regard to your question, the compatibility of a video card with a PC computer is directly related to the BIOS of the computer itself.
So, based on that in order to get the information you are looking for about compatibility, the best thing to do will be to get in contact directly with Dell so they can provide the information needed.
With Intel boards we always recommend to do a BIOS update to the latest version of the board, but before you tried anything please check with Dell first.
Dell's phone number: 1 800-624-9897
Dell's support site: http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/04 http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/04
Any questions, please let me know
