overscan windows 10 intel graphics 4600

Hi,

I have overscan on my second screen, a Sony TV connected through HDMI.

I tried (re)installing drivers for my Intel Graphics 4600, but that didn't do the trick.

OS = Windows 10.

Does anyone know how to solve this?

Thanks in advance!

Pim

PS: The Sony TV (http://tweakers.net/pricewatch/148537/sony-bravia-kdl-32v2500.html Bravia KDL-32V2500) doesn't have the option to stop the overscan.

PS2: I have been having this problem for some time now, also when I still had Windows 8.

Hello pimvan ,

First, I would like to you make sure you have the latest drivers installed in your system.

Here you can find the latest drivers for Intel HD Graphics 4600 under Windows 10*: http://intel.ly/2cFYOzr http://intel.ly/2cFYOzr

In case you have issues installing it, please check the following instructions:

1. Access the device manager and look for display adapters

2. Right click and uninstall the driver, make sure to select "Delete the driver software for this device"

3. Download the driver

4. Open this link: for Windows 10/8: http://intel.ly/1PdmvLd http://intel.ly/1PdmvLd

5. Disconnect the system from the internet and proceed with steps in the guide above (step# 4)

If the problem persists, it would be great to have your system information to better assist you.

I require the Intel SSU report and "sticky" graphics issue report:

-Access: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility

-Download the utility

-Scan your system with the utility

-Export the report (hit next and then save) and attach it to your answer with the advanced editor option (reply button and then check upper right corner)

Sticky or graphics issue report: /thread/77761 https://communities.intel.com/thread/77761

Hope I can hear from you

Thanks for your response Esteban,

I already installed various other versions of the driver, but without success. I just tried the one you link, but unfortunately that didn't do the trick eiter. Btw, I got a message that the one you linked is older than the one I already had.

So I wanted to send you the report, but somehow I can't find the advanced editor option in the upper right corner, so hereby a cut and paste of the details:

Please note that I ran the report before updating the driver.

Hello pimvan ,

Thank you for the information provided!

Have you tested the Costumize Aspect Ratio from the Intel HD Graphics Control Panel?

Please check this link and look for "Why can I see the center of the Windows* desktop, but not the top, bottom, and sides?"

http://intel.ly/2h7ef6K http://intel.ly/2h7ef6K

It is related to the Costumize Aspect Ratio.

If the option is not present, please try to set lower resolution than native (the current resolution) to try to get this option available in the control panel.

Here you can find another driver to be tested: http://intel.ly/2dD3t5y http://intel.ly/2dD3t5y

Please let me know how it goes
