Customized resolution for my Dell UltraSharp UP3214Q monitor

I have asked this before but the problem is still there, the latest drivers (4624) don`t support customized resolution for my Dell UltraSharp UP3214Q monitor. I Think the 4424 was the latest that worked, I now I must first install 4424 and make the customized resolution and then install the latest driver

Please download the following driver https://downloadmirror.intel.com/26229/eng/win64_154028.4501.zip https://downloadmirror.intel.com/26229/eng/win64_154028.4501.zip As soon as the driver has been downloaded on the keyboard press WinLogo key + r, then type in devmgmt.msc, double click on Display Adapters -> Intel HD Graphics -> Driver tab -> Uninstall -> Select the check box Delete the driver software for this device -> OK, restart the computer, and then reinstall the graphics driver I provided. No it did not work, as far as I know it only works with the 4424 drivers

and no you cant custom set any resolution at all, the settings for changing is not available

As you can see my resolution is 1360 x 768 85hz, that is only possible because I customized that with the old 4424 driver, and it stays in memory when I update to a newer driver, but I can`t custom set any NEW resolutions, the settings for changing is gone

It works with my 52" sony TV with HDMI connected, and I wouldn't be surprised if I use HDMI to my Dell monitor it would work to, but I have not tried it, whats the point of using HDMI on a 4k monitor when displayport is the only one that support 4k resolution, EDIT I just tried with a HDMI Cable on my Dell 4k monitor and it does work, so it has something to do with displayport

I just discovered that it works (atleast settings for changing is now available) if I change the SETTING IN THE MONITOR from enable to disabled the Displayport 1.2 setting, but then I can only use 29hz or 30hz for most resolutions and that is not acceptable

After doing additional research in my database I found out that there are other users who have reported that feature works with latest graphics driver. Yes but did they have a Dell 4k monitor connected with Displayport and have Displayport 1.2 enabled in the monitors settings? it works with driver 4424 so it should not be so hard to find the problem, it works with the utility CRU but I Think it should work with Intels driver also

Other users were using different monitors. I just tested another monitor which is a HP* Z27s 27-inch IPS UHD Display, and I was able to create and apply custom resolutions. At this point there are no other troubleshooting steps I can provide. For more troubleshooting steps you can check the Community thread I provided before. Another option would be keep using the graphics driver that works for you. Bear in mind that our drivers are generic; we cannot guarantee our generic drivers will work fine on every OEM system.
