Hello MattLeung,

The NV here stands for "No vPro", meaning those adapters do not support the http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/architecture-and-technology/vpro/vpro-technology-general.html Intel® vPro™ Technology.

If you're looking to upgrade or replace your wireless adapter, our recommendation is to work together with your computer manufacturer to identify which adapters are supported and pre-approved for your system. Whenever possible, you should purchase the approved adapters from your computer manufacturer directly to further avoid incompatibilities due to sub-model differences.
