When I click on the link in your post, I go to a new page that says

It looks like that is a windows executable. Can someone confirm before I spend all night downloading it?

Yes, it is the SDK for Windows.

Linux and Mac OSX users should please use the librealsense SDK.

Mac users who really need to use the official RealSense SDK for Windows can try using it with Boot Camp.
