The G45 is not supported on windows 10.

Look way down this page under "legacy": http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005526.html Supported Operating Systems for Intel® Graphics Products

there have been 7 generations of the core ix-xxxx You have only provided part of your processor number. Provide the full number in the format i7-xxxx.

You can look here for processor support: http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/processors/000006105.html Intel® Processor Support for Microsoft Windows® 10

If you mean i7-5820K, the answer is no. The two processors have different sockets.

If you are thinking about a processor upgrade, the upgrade processor must be socket, BIOS, and chipset compatible. Only the manufacturer of your motherboard/system can tell you what processors are supported by their bios. You must contact them for that information.

With a processor (and chipset) as old as yours, you would be far better off by getting a new system that is supported by Windows 10.
