Hi,

I tried installing librealsense on my PC and while doing a make && sudo make install inside the build folder, I get an error as follows "/home/subodh/librealsense/src/device.h:13:35: fatal error: motion/MotionAPI-slim.h: No such file or directory" Why do I get this error and how can I solve it?

Regards,

Subodh.

Hi Subodh,

Thanks for your interest in the Intel® Realsense™ Platform.

I'm sorry to hear that you are having an error while installing the librealsense directory. Could you be so kind to tell me if you by any chance encounter any other errors when following this guide https://github.com/IntelRealSense/librealsense/blob/master/doc/installation.md librealsense/installation.md at master · IntelRealSense/librealsense · GitHub .

We will be waiting for your reply, have a nice day!

Best Regards,

Btw, I used this page https://github.com/IntelEuclid/librealsense/blob/master/doc/installation.md librealsense/installation.md at master · IntelEuclid/librealsense · GitHub

Which is exactly not the same as the one you shared above!

Hi SubMarln,

Euclid has a special version of librealsense that uses the motion module API (motion/MotionAPI-slim.h), that you don't have on your PC, that's why it is failing ... you can install the "regular" librealsense on your PC if you want to use ZR300/SR300/R200 cameras (https://github.com/IntelRealSense/librealsense GitHub - IntelRealSense/librealsense: Cross-platform API for Intel® RealSense™ devices
