This is same problem as . Raising again since it was not solved

When ever I loaded the resident Evil 7 game I am getting the below error.

"d: //reengine//reengine//builder//modules//render//os//renderdevicedx11.cpp" 3796 present failed. HRESULT = 0x887a0005,The GPU device instance has been suspended. Use GetDeviceRemovedReason to determine the appropriate action"

later the getting the warning message from taskbar icon stating that

"amd driver has stopped working and successfully recovered'

I tried all the methods available in below thread but nothing helps.

RAM: 4GB DDR3

OS : Windows 10 Pro 64bit (I tried in win7,8 also same error)

GPU - AMD radeon hd 7670m (2GB) (Installed Crimson Edition 16.2.1)

Intel HD Graphics HD 4000 - Installed the latest driver (win64_153343.4425.exe)

if I disable the amd driver and run in Intel 4000 then i m getting below error

Display driver Intel HD 4000 Graphics Drivers for Windows 8(R) stopped responding and has successfully recovered on Windows 10

Note:

I have tried all the methods available in online (sfc scan, tdrdealy, intel sde, overclocking amd etc but still getting same error.

Try the new driver that has just been released for your GPU

Hi Stefan,

Thanks for the update. I have uninstalled all display drivers , restarted and then installed the mentioned driver. It was successfully installed but still getting same error.(mentioned driver was released on mid of 2016)

Attached the screenshot of error.

Can you please guide me the next step?

Since the error message "d: //reengine//reengine//builder//modules//render//os//renderdevicedx11.cpp"... pinpoints an issue in the source code of the game i would try to contact its developer.

Hello mvpmurali,

As Stefan3D mentioned above, I suggest you to contact the game developers for an update or patch since this is an error coming directly from the game.
