When trying to play H1Z1 (other games seem to be working ok) I have been getting "Display driver igfx stopped responding and has successfully recovered." error.
This started immediately after a driver update. If I load older drivers the issue seems to be corrected by I would like to get the issue resolved in the new drivers.
I am willing to try anything to assist with diagnosing and resolving this issue.
Per H1Z1 support this issue is caused by overclocking of the hardware but I am running 2016 MacBook Pro with no overclocking. It's not a cooling issue as the error occurs immediately after launching the game (less than 30 seconds after booting the machine and it's cool to the touch)
Last known good driver was 5/22/2017 through Windows Update if I recall.
I messed with TdrDelay and associated registry settings for the timeout detection mechanism with no luck. Instead of "Display driver igfx stopped responding and has successfully recovered."
You end up with "Application H1Z1.exe has been blocked from accessing Graphics hardware."
