Windows 10 doesn't allow OpenGL because there are no drivers...

I want to install OpenGL so I could play Minecraft on my computer, but it keeps saying "Pixel format not accelerated". When I try to look up a solution, it just says I need to update my graphics drivers. So, I search for graphics driver updates, and I get "your system does not meet the minimum requirements".

I am NOT downgrading to Windows 7, but OpenGL is needed for Minecraft... can someone help me out?

GPU: Mobile Intel 4 Series Express Family Chipset (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM 1.1)

Processor: Intel Celeron 900 @ 2.20 gHz

Help is most appreciated. Thank you.

I am having the same issue with Windows 8 and 10 with my G45 Express Chipset. Minecraft needs OpenGL support to run and the Microsoft drivers will not provide OpenGL. Only Basic driver support. I have 4 of these computers with Core 2 Quads @ 2.53 Ghz and 3 with Pentium D's @ 3.4 Ghz and I really do not want to rebuild them all to Windows 7. But as I see it Intel is the only one that can build a new driver for OpenGL.

Not sure if this helps, but if you login to the Mobi website you can get a code for a free copy of the Windows 10 optimized version of Minecraft. I'm not sure how well it works with the Intel drivers yet because my Intel drivers won't load properly in Windows 10.

I am running on windows 10.I have a Celeron B830.I cannot get opengl to work.

Is there any way i can get Opengl and Opencl to work with my Celeron.I no longer own a copy of windows 8 or any other windows version,so downgrading is not a option.

There is a way to reach older versions of OpenGL via DirectX wrappers, http://legend.uw.hu/TitaniumGL/ http://legend.uw.hu/TitaniumGL/ for example. Intended to support classic old games though. The Windows build of Mesa3D library will give you SW render of newer OpenGL specs.
