I have a Sony laptop VPCSE27FX 64-bit preinstalled with:
Windows 7 Home Premium
Processor: Intel Core i7-2640M CPU @ 2.80 GHz 2.80 GHz
Display adapters: AMD Radeon HD6630M and Intel HD Graphics 3000
My problem is that when editing video and photos using Adobe programs CS5 such as Premiere Pro and Photoshop the system crashes.
I am trying to resolve this issue by updating the AMD and Intel drivers.
I have noticed that I can update the drivers through Device Manager but would like your opinion if this is the best way to do it.
Also I have noticed that the "roll back driver" option is grayed out. Will that option be available in case of a failed update?
I will appreciate if you have any other ideas on how to resolve this issue.

Most of the times (not to say always) computers with dual Graphics Controllers will use the Dedicated video card to run programs such as the ones you are so the onboard will be running just windows tasks.
The problem you are experiencing at this point may not be related entirely to the Intel® HD graphics but a third Party graphics controller so I recommend you to check with the Computer Manufacture the latest driver for your system since it is a custom driver.
