upgrade my laptop CPU request

I have an Intel Pentium Dual T2330 @1.6 GHz

I wanted to get better performance for my gaming, but am unsure of any options available in upgrading my Inspiron 1720 laptop I bought from my brother.

Unfortunately only DELL* can give you a list of supported processors for your computer as the BIOS has to have the correct set of instructions in order to utilize the processors.

You need contact to http://www.laptopspec.net/category/dell/ dell. You can upgrade the cpu to see the chipset on mainboard.
