so I keep getting ping spikes with this chipset from my gigabyte wb867d-i wireless card, i cant play csgo comp without lag spikes every two minutes and tbh im getting pretty annoyed with it now, this has been happening for weeks, old adapter is fine but not up to scratch for my internet speed. ive tried the scanwhenassociated regedit with no avail and ive tried other things like turning it to 20mhz only in the wifi settings, can anyone suggest anything else before i send this thing back for a refund.

Hello arronleeds,

Since this card is a Gigabyte device, we advise you to check with http://www.gigabyte.com/support-downloads/support-downloads.aspx GIGABYTE - Support for support and updated drivers.

If the card came from factory with an Intel Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260, you might try the generic drivers from Intel https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/75439/Intel-Dual-Band-Wireless-AC-7260 Drivers & Software.

Also, there is an existing thread about this topic, it includes many workarounds that have solved this condition for other users, the scanwhenassociated, wireless settings, Windows* configuration, among others.

Hello arronleeds,

In this case, we advise you to contact http://www.gigabyte.com/support-downloads/support-downloads.aspx Gigabyte Support for assistance since they are the manufacturer of the Add-in-card.

If you have further questions about the Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260, feel free to http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/contact-support.html Contact Intel Support, and a support agent will be able to provide any additional details and troubleshooting.

you shouldnt be selling the ac 7260 chipset if it has issues, its not respected.
