Updating Graphics Media Accelerator 3600 Series driver

My computer is ASUS 1225C R252 series. My current Windows is 7 Ultimate. I want to download Windows 10 but am told that my Graphics Media Accelerator is not compatible.

I downloaded the Intel (R) Update Utility. This scans my computer and tells me that my current, installed driver is V8.14.8.1096 and the update is V8.0.4.1.1096. However, that is all it does. It does not download the new driver and I cannot find a way to update this driver..

I went into Google and selected Intel (R) Graphics Media Accelerator 3600 Series for Windows V8.0.4.1.1096 and tried to download it. However, it downloaded the driver I already have installed.

How can I download and install the updated driver so that I may then download Windows 10, please? Help!

Hello, TropicalMike:

The current version that you have installed is in fact the latest version available, here you can double check it https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/65926/Intel-Graphics-Media-Accelerator-3600-Series Drivers & Software.

Bear in mind that your graphics controller is not compatible with Windows® 10, there are no drivers available from our site for Windows 10 and this graphics controller.

Amy.
