Q33 Express Chipset driver will not update from 8.15.10.1930 to 15.12.75.4.64.1930

Having trouble with the GoPro camera Studio software and GoPro asked for some system info and then recommended that I upgrade the driver version. However, every way I've tried to do it, the version never changes. When I use the Intel Driver Update Utility, I simply get the message: Failed after it says "installing" for a minute or two and then the screen goes black for a couple seconds before appearing again. Help?

I would like to inform you that the system is not able to update the driver since it looks like it already has the latest version available installed.

I would recommend you to check with HP if they have a newer driver for this chipset or you may also check if you are using the latest BIOS version.

I'm confused...they told me:

Currently, you run an Intel Q33 Express Chipset using driver version 8.15.10.1930 (dated 9/22/2009). Per Intel's recommendation, the latest version available for your graphics card is 15.12.75.4.64.1930 (dated 10/02/2009).

In our site the driver version 15.12.75.4.64.1930 is the latest version available for the Q33 Express Chipset, however this is a generic driver and sometimes they cannot be install on HP systems.

Something important is that drives are sent to the OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturer) a month before we release the generic driver in our website so they can customized them.

Usually OEMs make a lot of customizations to the drivers and the installation of Intel's drivers could overwrite those customizations. Therefore it will affect your system.
