I have an HP Envy x360 m6 Convertible Laptop, running an Intel HD 520 iGPU, with a display driver version of 21.20.16.4542, Fallout 4 keeps crashing upon startup; is there any way to fix this?

Your driver is outdated, try

https://gameplay.intel.com/de/ProcessorsSearch/8996 Intel tested the game only on stronger Skylakes, yet it should not crash

Create a system restore point

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/instantanswers/e6bbddb0-9db4-4d88-9063-42c52c79a96e/create-a-system-restore-point

Install the desired driver via "have disk method" as described at:

http://www.windowscentral.com/how-install-intel-beta-graphics-drivers-surface

(ignore prolog about MS surface)

This is a bit late, but after the most recent Fallout 4 update, my game stopped starting up again. I still have the same specs on my laptop and have not changed anything about the game (like modding). Is it perhaps a driver problem once again?

You can try to update the driver one more time:

Unfortunately even after updating the drivers again the game refuses to launch
