Intel driver utility is unable to start because a supporting system service failed to start

I was trying to update my drivers but got this message after installing updates "Intel driver utility is unable to start because a supporting system service failed to start". After that I started adobe premiere and I got this message. "Adobe premiere pro could not find any capable video play modules. Please update your video display drivers and start again". What do I do? I'm not really smart when it comes to technology so I'm hoping for detailed explanation to what's going on. Here is some info of my laptop:

Processor: Intel(R) core(TM) i7-6700HQ CPU @ 2.60GHZ 2.59 GHZ

RAM: 16 GB

system type: window 10, 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

Same issue as mentioned at

For your GPU use this driver:

If you encounter another error message about compatibility, proceed like this:

Create a system restore point

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/instantanswers/e6bbddb0-9db4-4d88-9063-42c52c79a96e/create-a-system-restore-point https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/instantanswers/e6bbddb0-9db4-4d88-9063-42c52c79a96e/create-a-system-restore-point

Install the desired driver via "have disk method" as described at:

(ignore prolog about MS surface)

I tried to download that but I got this message. "The driver being installed is not validated for this computer. Please obtain the appropriate driver from the computer manufacturer". I started Lenovo update system and it says everything is up to date. I still get "Intel driver utility is unable to start because a supporting system service failed to start" every time I start computer. This only happened after using Intel software to update my drivers. How can I reverse this? is it safe to uninstall and reinstall? and download drivers from Lenovo instead?

You got the "not validated" message because you tried the EXE version.

Before you uninstall anything create a system restore point just in case you want roll back

Then as aforementioned install the ZIP version of driver via "have disk method" as described at:

Hello Otaybii,

I was wondering if you still need assistance regarding the frame rate stutter you are getting in your computer. If you require any further information, let me know.

Hello Otaybii,

I understand you are getting an error message when opening Adobe* Premiere Pro.

Let me apologize for any inconvenience this issue may be causing to you.

Bear in mind Intel® Driver Update Utility has been mainly designed for Intel motherboards. We cannot guarantee our application will be able to work fine on every OEM system. Since Intel® Driver Update Utility is not working properly in your computer the best option would be uninstalling it.

There is a chance the error message you are getting on Adobe* Premiere Pro might be a compatibility issue between the graphics card and the application. Checking the requirements of Adobe* Premiere Pro I did not find Intel HD Graphics 530 as a compatible graphics card. We can try updating the graphics driver, but if issue persists the best option would be contacting Adobe*. Adobe* should be able to let you know if the application will run or not on Intel HD Graphics 530. This link will give you more information about minimum hardware requirements https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/system-requirements.html https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/system-requirements.html

Please download this graphics driver https://downloadmirror.intel.com/26836/eng/win64_154519.4678.zip https://downloadmirror.intel.com/26836/eng/win64_154519.4678.zip

Install the graphics driver with the steps that are on this YouTube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S1KzoQDjMMY https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S1KzoQDjMMY
