Hello harrisonro,

If you plan to upgrade your wireless adapter, we strongly advise to contact the https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/topics/OEMs.html Computer Manufacturer Support, or their authorized service provider. They are the best source to inform which adapters are fully compatible with your PC.

Older computers may not support newer adapters, additionally, the PC has to be designed to use Bluetooth* and WiFi in the same card in order to work properly.

You can check which adapters are supported with Windows® 10 in the following document: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/network-and-i-o/wireless-networking/000005602.html Supported Operating Systems for Intel® Wireless Products.

Please keep in mind that Intel does not support, nor recommends custom integration of wireless adapters since this may lead to installation errors, connection issues, software error messages, and in some cases it may even be illegal.
