Intel RealSense requires an Intel 6th Gen proc with Intel HD Graphics. The Intel Extreme edition processors do not (with all previous releases) include on board Intel Graphics. With the "X" version releases for Sky Lake and Kaby Lake expected later this year, if they follow the enthusiast processor pattern of no on-board graphics, will that prevent RealSense from functioning even though these new enthusiast chips are 6th and 7th gen respectively?

I did some very deep research on this subject, Dillon. I had no more luck than you did in finding explicit confirmation regarding what GPU, if any, will be used for Kaby Lake-X and Skylake-X. However, reading between the lines, it seems a possibility that it could make use of HD P630, which is used in Xeon enterprise workstations in the Kaby Lake generation and is apparently identical to the Intel HD 530 in performance.
