On Intel motherboards, this is expected. When using Third Party video cards especially PCI Express card, the onboard graphics solution gets disabled, therefore, all other graphics features will be disabled as well.
I thought with the Z68 chipset, you can still use Quick Sync that's from the Intel HD 2000/3000, or even have both the discrete and integrated working to drive more monitors.
