Hi! Is anyone know what is the main difference between QX9300 and Q9100 except the frequency and unlocked for over-clocking? I mean what the X means? Is it only unlocked OC feature?

The "X" means that it is an extreme processor, so it is an unlocked processor.

To compare the features of both processors please check this link:

I knew X means Extreme and I already compared them before from the same link. What I realy wanted to ask is if I am not interested with OC and don't care about the frequency difference between QX9300 and Q9100 is there any other important difference which is not mentioned in the compare page? Which choise would be wiser, QX9300 or Q9100? Cause the prices quite different.

The only differences between both processors are the ones showing on the link provided on previous thread.

The differences are very small, so you might not notice the performance difference between both processors.

If you are still not sure about what processor to buy, I would suggest then contacting any Authorized Intel® Distributor so they can provide you further buying recommendations.

No I definetly will buy Q9100 but some other things are confusing me? In the market espacially China, there is a lot of Q9200 QAVR or QAJF. I checked intel's web page there is no such CPU. What is the reality about that CPU?

Since we do not have any processor with that model number, it means this could be a counterfeit processor, please check only with Authorized Intel® Distributors on your location.
