Hello everyone.
I recently bought my dream laptop (Clevo P150HM) with i7 2920XM CPU. Unfortunately, the installed CPU was unstable version of the ES/QS (Engineering Simple). I asked vendor about the replacement of the CPU for the OEM version or a refund for the cost of the CPU. But, I met with refusal. I dont know what to do in this situation and that is why I ask You for help.

Keep in mind that an engineering sample processor is a pre-production part that is distributed to hardware and software manufacturers to allow them to develop products prior to the introduction of a processor.
Since it is not a production unit, it does not have warranty coverage, and performance is not guaranteed.
I recommend you return it to your place of purchase for a refund or a replacement.
This type of processors where not meant to be installed on Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) systems.
For future references, we always recommend contacting any of our Authorized Intel® Distributors to prevent this situation.
