Hi Folks,
I have an old Toshiba Satellite A10-SP129 with an Intel 852GM chipset. I'm wondering two things:
1) What is the best driver to use on linux? (if it matters, i'm using ubuntu 11.04 i386)
2) What is the level of OpenGL support on this chipset? Does it support OpenGL version 2?
Thanks!

See below for information about drivers for Linux using your graphics controller
http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-010512.htm http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-010512.htm
About OpenGL, the latest support available is version 1.3; this is under windows operating system environment. There is no support for OpenGL 2.0

Thanks

Thanks for your reply, Allan. Do you know what version of OpenGL is supported with the linux drivers?
Also, the link for the drivers does not list the 852GM as one of the applicable chipsets. Furthermore, following the link to http://intellinuxgraphics.org/ http://intellinuxgraphics.org/ , I have no idea where the drivers actually are. Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated!
thanks.
