I have an Acer Aspire 4280T. the drivers I have are from 4/21/2010 I've tried everything to update them. Games crash, freeze, lag because of the vid drivers. I've go to Acer site to see if they have newer drivers and all I see are the same ones, run a driver search from the diver window and it says they are the most up to date drivers. I've tried to run the driver search on here and it won' even run my java is up to date and I even tried it with no firewall still craps out. I'm pretty sure there are newer drivers that can work with it.

Thank you for the information.

Based on the report, It seems your system is running a first generation processor with win 8.1 Operating System. It is important to mention that the latest drivers we have for first generation Intel® Core processors are for Win 8 only.

My best recommendation is to contact the manufacture for them to provide the driver for Win 8.1 or you can try the driver for Win 8 (we do not recommend this but you can try).

You can also upgrade the BIOS in your system by getting it at this link:
