Hi NPoser.

I understand you are looking for compatibility information for 3D content through HDMI 2.0. Let me help you on this matter.

I would like to have more information about the system configuration, please run the following https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility-for-Windows- utility and attach the results.

To attach a file, you must click "Use Advanced Editor" in the top right corner of the response box, then the "attach" option will appear in the bottom right corner of the response box.

Regards,

Allan J.

Hi NPoser.

Thank you for the report, I appreciate it.

I have been checking the graphics driver version 4815 release notes, I found that when using less than 12GB of memory you can find problems with 3D playback.

Please take a look at the link below for additional information:

Hi Allan

This problem doesn't depend on the amount of memory. Because if I connect to the port of HDMI 1.4 in my TV then 3D is working fine but if I connect to the port HDMI 2.0 then 3D stop working.

The same problem is in INTEL NUCi7

The "other thread" you reference is 9 months old and marked "assumed answered" although it is abundantly clear in reading through it that no answer or solution of any kind has ever been provided. It is a series of people begging for Intel to respond, and no one from Intel has responded in many months. Intel reps said they replicated the problem (3D over HDMI 2.0 simply does not work as it is claimed to in Intel's marketing materials) but have never stated anything about a solution of any kind. Sending this thread to that black hole is totally ignoring a clear problem and burying it yet again.

Can you confirm why maryt_intel does not think this is an issue to be fixed?

The above to me states what we all know that you WERE trying to fix an issue, but now are denying it was ever an issue!

Now you have very Kindly locked the above mentioned thread also.

Trying to silence everyone and brush this under the carpet?

Unfortunately i can confirm, that 3D MVC playback still doesn't work and it seems that INTEL isn't be able or isn't willing to solve this bug. I will wait for Ryzen APU's next spring and i will then build a new HTPC on Ryzen.

Checking? Been doing that for many months, with no response from Intel. Linked thread you refer to is far less then worthless. Just a bunch of frustrated media buffs venting on the lack of response from Intel. And of course Intel would never ever admit to the lack of advertised functionality in their processors, so delay delay delay is the only option. Can't acknowledge lies or people might want refunds.
