I am using windows 7 and I have plugged 2 monitors (one is a HP the other Acer) on a video splitter (both VGA) to my computer and the only thing it does is show the same image on both monitors, but I want it to show different ones (extended). When I go to set up the computer to use multiple monitors it doesn't detect the second one. Anyways, could someone please help me with this?

Hello,
To be able to get the Multi-monitor configuration on the Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator, you need to use two separate video pipelines which requires two separate video ports. In this case your system would need a VGA port and another VGA, DVI, HDMI, etc. port.
Using a splitter will make the system just to detect one single display so the Multi-monitor configuration options will not work, even though you are seeing an image on both monitors.
