intel graphics control panel crashes (says control panel has stopped working)

hey i need to change the contrast via the intel graphics control panel but every time i click on display it crashes (says control panel has stopped working), is there a way to uninstall and reinstall or would it affect the laptop, thanks for any help

We cannot guess what you have. Provide the complete processor model number, and what operating system you are running.

Also, provide the model number and manufacturer of your laptop.
