I have two Dell Inspiron 15 laptops. One with Intel HD Graphics 520 and the other with the Intel UHD Graphics 620.
The Dell with the 520 projects via its HDMI port to a Sharp 70" 1080p monitor with no issues.
When I connected the Dell with the 620 to the same monitor using the same cable via its HDMI, the picture on the Sharp was distorted.
Reducing the refresh rate from 60p Hz tp 30p Hz in the 620 UHD graphics control panel for the Sharp display corrected the problem.
Anyone know why I had to do this?
Please see the attached for system information and a picture of the distortion. Thanks.

Of course, right after I posted this, Dell updated my Bios.
I connected the 620 UHD to the Sharp monitor, changed the refresh rate back to 60p Hz and there is now no distortion.
My connection sequence was:
1. Plug the laptop into the Sharp's HDMI. Leave the laptop off.
2. Turn on the Sharp.
3. Turn on the laptop.
