I'm trying to install directx on my computer.
I have two mobile chipset drivers(see screenshots below). If I turn on the one that is disabled in the screenshot, my screen goes to a 640x480 4-bit 1hz resolution, and it is stuck like that.
Note: The driver that is disabled below in the screenshot, is the directx driver. The one that is enabled, does not support directx on it.
I'm trying to play the racing simulator rFactor.
Here's some extra information

Hello,
Having two entries of the Intel(R) 4 series video controller on the Device Manager is completely expected and it is normal. These are the two pipes of video that the controller has to support Multi-monitor configurations like clone or extended desktop. So you should not try to disable one of them to use your system normally.
This has been documented before in an old article since the Mobile Intel(R) 945GM Express Chipset. That information is posted here:
http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/intel945gm/sb/CS-022194.htm http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/intel945gm/sb/CS-022194.htm
Concerning DirectX* support, the mobile Intel(R) 4 series controllers are validated to support DirectX* 10 by using the latest driver available. In that case check with your system manufacturer for an updated driver for your system. You can also test using the latest generic driver posted here:

If you still have issues playing the game that you would like to play, check and follow the troubleshooting steps on the game troubleshooting guide here:

Furthermore, check with your game developer to make sure that the system you are using meets the minimum requirements to play this game.

While the two chipset is good information, the main question is still not answered.
When I have the function 0 chipset enabled, my screen turns like this(see link below)
