I have a Compaq V6000 laptop, with

Graphics Driver for Mobile Intel 965 Express Chipset for Windows 7 32 bit

Version: 8.15.10.1930

Dated: 2009-09-23

My laptop is affected by wanacry,, while updating the OS patches, the patch highlighted the following :

Graphics Driver(Igdkmd32.sys) ver 8.15.10.2104 - 8.15.10.2141 are problematic

Would like to know if the driver I have is problematic as this is lesser than the version I have on my laptop.

Seek the community help to know the latest driver that I should install on my laptop.

For a laptop this old, in my opinion, it is time to take it to the recycle bin.

If your laptop has been affected by ANY virus, anything is suspect. If you have a backup, restore it.

Otherwise, you should start looking forward to a new, modern, 64-bit hardware platform that is supported, and where security updates are applied automatically for you.
