Hi,
I've just got a z68mb & a 2500k and am using a 1366*768 HDTV.
I am using Win7 pro 64 bit and vga dsub.
At one point I am sure 1366*768 poped up but I had to reinstall and now can only get 1360*768.
I've tried seting it via custom (simple) but I just get 1360*768.
Any idea how I can get 1366*768 back?
This is using the cpus graphics.
Thanx

If you need 1366*768, I recommend the following:
1. Get latest computer BIOS update
2. Load latest Graphics Driver at: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=20037&ProdId=3319&lang=eng&OSVersion=Windows%207%20Professional%2C%2064-bit%20version*&DownloadType=Drivers http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=20037&ProdId=3319&lang=eng&OSVersion=Windows%207%20Professional%2C%2064-bit%20version*&DownloadType=Drivers
3. Load latest monitor inf. drivers from your monitor or TV manufacturer.
4. Try again
5. See more information about screen resolutions at: http://support.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-022544.htm http://support.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-022544.htm
-Make sure you are using Straight cables because video cable adapters are not supported.
thanks
Allan.

OK looked more into it:
I can select 1366*768 if using the intel drivers supplied by windows/windows update. However while 1366*768 is the quoted res the actual res is 1360*768.
My TV does not report its ability to run @ 1366*768 in its EDID data.
It can run @ 1366*768 I have done it before under XP.
The seems to be some win7 prob with not allowing a drive to set outside of the EDID report res.
I don't c this as a prob as the INTEL drivers have a section for custome resolutions. However when in custom basic If i create 1366 I still get 1360. In custom advanced when I enter params that I used in XP it just say the res will b 0x0 and nothing is saved.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanx
