Hi,

I confirm the 775 is a discontinued socket type, but just to be in sync., please, let me know the exact processor model you inquire about.

Hi!

Thank you for the answer.

Actually is for a bidding, auction (sorry my English is not good), to sell computers but they can't be discontinued at the time of the bidding and at the act of signing the contract. I'm trying to be sure if I can eliminate 775 processors, not especific models.

Are there new models in production for this socket?

Hi,

In further researching here, I confirm the following:

1. None of the following are neither end of interactive support nor end of life, yet (see the "Status" column on the listed chart as you click on them):

http://ark.intel.com/products/family/34522/Intel-Core2-Extreme-Desktop-Processor/desktop Intel® Core™2 Extreme Desktop Processor

http://ark.intel.com/products/family/28398/Intel-Core2-Quad-Desktop-Processor/desktop Intel® Core™2 Quad Desktop Processor

2. The majority of the following ones are either end of interactive support nor end of life, yet:

http://ark.intel.com/products/family/26547/Intel-Core2-Duo-Desktop-Processor/desktop Intel® Core™2 Duo Desktop Processor

http://ark.intel.com/products/family/41877/Intel-Pentium-Desktop-Processor/desktop Intel® Pentium® Desktop Processor

3. As for the rest, the majority are end of interactive support and/or end of life; see the following URLs:

http://ark.intel.com/products/family/288/Intel-Celeron-Desktop-Processor/desktop http://ark.intel.com/products/family/288/Intel-Celeron-Desktop-Processor/desktop

http://ark.intel.com/products/family/5263/Intel-Celeron-D-Processor/desktop http://ark.intel.com/products/family/5263/Intel-Celeron-D-Processor/desktop

http://ark.intel.com/products/family/7944/Intel-Pentium-D-Processor/desktop http://ark.intel.com/products/family/7944/Intel-Pentium-D-Processor/desktop

http://ark.intel.com/products/family/581/Intel-Pentium-4-Processor/desktop http://ark.intel.com/products/family/581/Intel-Pentium-4-Processor/desktop

Any other that's not listed, is end of interactive support and/or end of life, indeed.

You may want to check with any Intel(R) Authorized Distributor for in-stock and sale of any of the above.
