Matherboard ASUS B85M-G Intel i5-4460

Ho acquistato una Matherboard ASUS B85M-G su cui montare un Intel i5-4460. Al primo tentativo il sistema non ha dato segni di vita: nessun segnale sullo schermo - il Led del HD è rimasto acceso solo per alcuni secondi - la ventola di raffreddamento funziona. Tenendo premuto il pulsante di accensione il sistema si spegne.

Purtroppo per verificare eventuali anomalie sul socket, ho danneggiato i pin e quindi ho acquistato una seconda Matherboard B85M-5.

Anche con la seconda Matherboard il risultato è lo stesso: nessun segnale arriva al Monitor. Il monitor funziona sicuramente perché è quello da cui vi scrivo. Vorrei sapere se, secondo voi, devo aggiornare il Bios prima dell'utilizzo come suggerisce ASUS (*Before using the new Intel 4th Gen Core processors, we suggest that you first download the BIOS updater for new Intel 4th Gen Core Processors and then update the BIOS using this tool.) oppure se è ipotizzabile un malfunzionamento della CPU.

I reviewed the specifications of both motherboards and they are compatible with 4th gen processors; however, they need a BIOS update if they come with an older version.
