I have Intel Rapid Storage Technology (Intel RST) RAID Driver 12.9.0.1001 installed and have a longstanding issue of not being able to have my PC resume from sleep or hibernate mode. Periodically I update drives to stay current and see if it addresses this issue. I am trying to upgrade to Intel Rapid Storage Technology (Intel RST) RAID Driver 14.5.0.1081 but it fails with the error "Fatal error during installation."

Hi DGDC,
We recommend to use Intel® Update Utility with Intel® motherboards. It is better to install the latest drivers provided with Asus from the link below.
https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P8P67_DELUXE/HelpDesk_Download/ https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P8P67_DELUXE/HelpDesk_Download/
Intel provides with generic drivers and they will work if your motherboard manufacturer allows it.
The latest version of the Intel® Rapid Storage Technology (Intel® RST) RAID Driver is below https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25165/Intel-Rapid-Storage-Technology-Intel-RST-RAID-Driver Intel® Download Center
It is necessary to install the F6 (f6flpy-x64.zip) driver while you are installing the operating system from scratch.

Mike C,
As stated, I tried running the Intel® Update Utility and while it updated my NIC drivers it did not update the chipset drivers that it identified as needing an update. The only ASUS chipset drivers available is for Management Engine Interface V9.5.10.1658 from 2013. Not exactly recent.
As stated, I tried installing Intel® Rapid Storage Technology (Intel® RST) RAID Driver (https://downloadcenter.intel.com/downloads/eula/25165/Intel-Rapid-Storage-Technology-Intel-RST-RAID-Driver?httpDown=https://downloadmirror.intel.com/25165/eng/SetupRST.exe SetupRST.exe) and it fails. See logs above.

Hi,
Please increase the Value column of your system configuration. I couldn't collect your system configuration.

I don't see how the Value column width in the System Information application impacts the exported data, as you should be able to expand the column width in the application you are using to view. But attached is the export after I increased the column width in my application.

Hi DGDC,
Intel provides with generic drivers for third party motherboards. Your motherboard manufacturer customizes the drivers and determines which drivers will work on their systems.
As a workaround, I suggest you the following.
-Verify BIOS version. The latest version is 3602 https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P8P67_DELUXE/HelpDesk_Download/ https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P8P67_DELUXE/HelpDesk_Download/
-The latest Chipset driver version for Asus P8P67 DELUXE available on Asus website is Version 9.5.10.1658 (Microsoft® Windows 8.1 x64bit)
Management Engine Interface
https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P8P67_DELUXE/HelpDesk_Download/ https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P8P67_DELUXE/HelpDesk_Download/
-Install
The latest generic versions of Intel® Rapid Storage Technology (Intel® RST) RAID Driver are in the link below. You can try with version 13.
