Centrino 135 N - Can't add a wireless display

Hello!

I have bought a wireless display adapter which I'm going to hook up to my TV (waiting to arrive) but it appears that my laptop doesn't have the option to "add a wireless display".

Laptop Specs:

OS: Windows 8.1 64 bit

Graphics: HD 4600

Network: Intel Centrino 135 N

I used the Intel utility for scanning for latest drivers to update the wireless network card's drivers to the latest (18.12.1 and selected options: "Wireless Software Extensions" and "Intel PROSet/Wireless Enterprise Software").

However when I go to the charms menu -> Devices -> Project -> I don't get the option to "Add a wireless adapter".

DXDiag tells me:

(Display) Driver Model: WDDM 1.3

Miracast: Not Supported by WiFi driver

Powershell tells me:

NDIS version: 6.3

I don't even know if this Centrino 135 N is capable of using miracast which is what I'm really after. Should I be able to add a wireless display with this network adapter or do I need to get a separate USB WiFi dongle? At this point I don't know if it isn't supported by the device or my drivers aren't set up correctly.
