I have a Dell M2800 notebook with integrated Intel graphics driver.

When i open our proprietary software tool IVStudio, it crashes on startup due to an OpenGL error.

This does not happen on other dell computers with Nvidia graphical cards.

Faulting module name: ig75icd32.dll, version: 10.18.14.4432, time stamp: 0x5708146b

Andries_Tacq: Thank you very much for joining the Intel® Graphics communities.

I looked for the specifications of the Dell M2800 notebook, but on Dell's web site it says it is no longer available:

http://www.dell.com/en-us/work/shop/productdetails/precision-m2800-workstation http://www.dell.com/en-us/work/shop/productdetails/precision-m2800-workstation

In order to try to assist you:

Do you know the Intel® graphics controller on it?

Which Windows version are you using?

Any further questions, please let me know.

Regards,

Alberto R

Can't you create a high performance profile for ivstudio.exe so that it always uses FirePro as described at https://community.amd.com/docs/DOC-1581 How to Configure Laptop Switchable Graphics | Community ?

Thank you to Stefan3D for sharing that information.

Andries_Tacq: Thank you very much for providing those details.

If after trying the steps on that link problem remains and since the processor is working with Intel® HD Graphics 4600, we can try to install the following graphics, it is version 4703 the latest:

Any questions, please let me know.

Did you accidentially download the 32-bit version?

If not, install the suggested driver via "have disk method" as described at:

http://www.windowscentral.com/how-install-intel-beta-graphics-drivers-surface

(ignore prolog about MS surface)

Hi Stefan3D,

Thanks for your reply,

I tried all drivers, so the 32 bit and 64 bit, both unsucessful.

When I try the link like for the surface, i can get to the point where i can select the model.

My model Intel HD Graphic 4600 is not listed.

When i select Intel HD Graphic i get the message : it's not recommended,

Do you think i should proceed, as it's not exacly the model of my graphical card which is mentioned.

The GPU is listed at the link that Alberto suggested

To be on the safe side, create a system restore point before installation (of any software)

Sorry, after taking a closer look it appears that the aforementioned driver supports HD 4600 only under Windows 10.

You would have to modify IGDLH64.INF and disable driver signatures at your own risk.

ok,

thank again for your support.

I will ask our IT department if a windows 10 upgrade is a possibility.

It's maybe better to go for the new drivers on a new OS instead of trying to stick to the win 7 solution.

Really looks like the way to go. Found this info at https://security-center.intel.com/advisory.aspx?intelid=INTEL-SA-00077&languageid=en-fr Intel® Product Security Center
