Intel® PROSet/Wireless 13.04.20100 needed

I wanted to update the current Intel® PROSet / Wireless Software and Drivers on 13.04.20100 to Intel® PROSet / Wireless Software and Drivers 19.70.0

But I did not have the original .msi file

Tell me where you can download the distribution kit ® PROSet / Wireless Software and Drivers 13.04.20100 ?

Please keep in mind that the Intel® PROSet is a software and drivers package. It contains different driver versions that will be installed depending on your wireless adapter and operating system.

 

 

Currently, our oldest download available is the 13.5.0 package (for Windows* XP, Vista, and 7):

Maybe you will provide information about how to manually remove the Intel® PROSet/Wireless 13.04.2010 ?

Below are the answers to your questions:

- What is the model of your wireless adapter(s): Intel(R) Centrino(R) Advanced-N 6200 ABG

- Which operating system version(s) will you need to install the drivers on: Win7x64

- Are you looking for the 13.04.20100 drivers, or the .msi for the latest generic PROSet package (19.70.0)? I'm looking for .msi for the latest generic PROSet package.So I can do the uninstall.

- Is this for a silent installation, or to update the drivers on a single computer? to update the drivers and PROSet package on a single computer

We understand that you're having issues removing the 31.04.2010 driver from your system. In this case, our clean installation method should work:

1. Download and save the latest https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26094 Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software and Drivers for Windows* 7 supporting your adapter.

 

2. Uninstall our PROSet Software: Open the Control Panel > Programs and Features (Uninstall a Program) > Uninstall any instance of the "Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software." When prompted, choose to "discard settings."

 

1. If the uninstaller fails, you may try the Microsoft* troubleshooter for this: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17588/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed-or-removed Fix problems that block programs from being installed or removed.

 

2. Or a third-party uninstaller tool (like https://www.revouninstaller.com/ Revo Uninstaller Free*).

 

3. Uninstall the driver: Control Panel > Device Manager > Network Adapters > Right click on your Intel® Centrino® Advanced-N 6200 ABG, and choose to Uninstall. Make sure to select the option to "Delete the driver software for this device." In some cases windows may then reinstall a built-in generic driver now, it's ok if this happens.

 

4. Clear out your temporary files: Press the Windows* Key + R to open the run box. Type Cleanmgr.exe and press OK. Here you will need to make sure Temporary Files are checked, you may uncheck everything else (unless you're ok with the extra wait) and press OK.

 

5. Now you may locate the previously downloaded PROSet package and follow through the installation.

 

 

As an optional step, we usually like to suggest using our http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/network-and-i-o/wireless-networking/000005544.html recommended connectivity settings.

Hello! Unfortunately the problem is not solved. According to your recommendations, the removal of the package "Intel® PROSet / Wireless Software."

The procedure reaches the stage where an old msi is required.

But since it does not exist, the installer does not go to the following stage.

Even if the built-in uninstaller fails, you should be able to remove the PROSet software using a tool like Revo Uninstaller*. The following guide might help:

Revo Unistaller did not help. When you try to delete, the message appears: This action is allowed only for installed products.

Hello unknown7,

After closing this error, Revo* should still be able to delete all leftover registry keys and files, effectively "force uninstalling" the program.

But if neither this tool nor the Windows* uninstall troubleshooter will remove the program, you may need to perform a clean installation of your operating system. Whatever caused the PROSet to become this corrupted may also have caused other problems that you may not be aware of yet.

If you have your Windows* product key, you should be able to download a fresh installation image from Microsoft* directly: http://microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/home microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/home

If you don't have your product key available, there are many tools online to extract it from your registry, http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/magical_jelly_bean_keyfinder.html Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder*.
