Intel Turbo Boost Max Technology 3.0 - Suitability/Installation with CPU

I wanted to ask forum members and staff whether my CPU is suitable for Intel Turbo Boost Max Technology 3.0. I have a Asus X99 pro/3.1 motherboard with a Intel 5930k CPU

This page says 3.7ghz Max Turbo Frequency is applicable

The issue with installation is I get a "Your system doesn't meet the minimum requirements" dialog and can't install.

And with another version "ITBM driver not available exiting application"

I have updated my BIOS to the latest version. I have read the FAQ and followed the steps to install properly. This program has never been installed successfully on my computer.

I read further up on my motherboard and it says it supports Intel Turbo Boost Max Technology 2.0. I can't find the download for version 2.0. Is my motherboard outdated for Intel Turbo Boost Max Technology.

Or is 3.0 an upgrade and it is still compatible with my motherboard.?

In regard to your processor specifications, this is turbo boost 2.0. If you need version 3.0, you will need a different processor technology. In other words, different hardware.

The Intel® Turbo Boost 2.0 software was removed from the Intel website since this is no longer supported. You will need to get the software from your motherboard maker or computer manufacturer's website. Allan.
