S2600CP motherboard swap how to transfer RAID1

Hello from Brussels,

We will switch from a failed S2600CP to a new S2600CP that will (hopefully) be received this Monday.

 

Is it a procedure to transfer the RAID1 containers without loosing all the data and operating system ?

Hello,

 

 

To answer your question, we recommend making sure to configure the Mass Storage Controller BIOS settings and having the firmware version exact as the old board, ensure that you are installing the drives in the same order they were originally. Under regular circumstances, you should be able to import the RAID configuration and boot from the array as long as there is no data corruption at a Operating System level. If you are not able to import or if you encounter any further issues, please contact our support group directly for assistance:
