Hi everyone,

As VR and mobile are not often discussed in relation to RealSense on this forum, I thought it would be interesting to community members to highlight RealSense solutions in those areas, including:

- RealSense F400 Mobile Solution, with 3D Face Authentication Vision Library and Background Segmentation Vision Library.

- RealSense Solution V200 inside-out AR / VR tracking

- T260 tracking module, with RealSense SLAM Vision Library

- RealSense Vision Processor D4m for mobile devices

Thanks for the info - is the T260 available? Forthcoming? Not seeing tons of info on it.

Thanks!

The 400 Series cameras use a tracking module called T150, so the T260 seems to be something different to that module.

RealSense SDK 2.0 already contains some initial support for users who have a test version of the V200 headset. From the Build configuration page of the SDK 2.0 documentation:

https://github.com/IntelRealSense/librealsense/wiki/Build-Configuration Build Configuration · IntelRealSense/librealsense Wiki · GitHub

As the RealSense Solutions page says that the V200 headset uses the T260 Tracking Module, I would speculate that TM2 is shorthand for Tracking Module T260. Aside from that, there does not seem to be any more information about the T260 or its possible availability as a standalone module yet.

If you are interested in the subject of Intel engineering samples, I would recommend considering registering an account with the Intel Design-In Tools store site.

I would assume that the Face Authentication Vision Library is designed to work with the RealSense Vision Processor D4m component for mobile devices. The download page for the RealSense SDK 2.0 says that it already supports the D4m.

The Intel paper below discusses 400 Series RealSense mobile vision tech, including the F400 and Vision Processor D4m.

This is the F400 module for mobiles, taken from the above paper:

Intel's RealSense Segment Manager, Brian Pruitt, said recently "We will talk more about the D4m in the future.".

I believe the D4m will be available for order through Intel Authorized Distributor companies rather than sold directly by Intel like the USB cameras are. I do not have any further information about the products on the RealSense Solutions page at this time, unfortunately.
