Hello, I've been with a laptop for a week, with the i7-7700HQ processor and I have doubts about the temperatures.
Playing I have reached 96/98 degrees in one of the cores and I do not know if that is right or wrong. I did the test with the IntelProcessor Diagnostic Tool and in all the tests gave an average of 40 degrees below the maximum these are the results of the test. . Everything is alright ?

I was taking a look to your thread and I understand that you want to know if the temperature of your I7-7700HQ is right or not.
It will be more than pleasure to help you out with your inquiry.
Based on the results that you shared I was able to check that the highest temperature that your machine reached was about 87°C. The maximum temperature allowed at the processor die will be 100°C. Our Intel Processor Diagnostic Tool performs a pretty detailed stress test that will take a processor to its highest temperature. Depending on the status of the processor, the highest temperature will change. Bad processors usually reach almost the top temperature, causing the whole system to crash, to go BSOD or to perform random reboots.

If you purchased your computer from a computer manufacturer opening your computer case may void your warranty. Contact your manufacturer if you are experiencing any overheating warning signs before trying any of these steps.
