I have an i7 6850k on an MSI x99a Gaming Pro Carbon Motherboard, and I keep getting this error.
I have updated the BIOS twice and now when I go to try to reinstall ITBM I get an error saying no compatible hardware found. Not sure how to resolve this issue...
Please help!

Hello Choader,
Thank you for joining the Processor community.
I would like to check a couple of things, please see below;
- Is this the version you are tying yo install https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26103/Intel-Turbo-Boost-Max-Technology-3-0 Download Intel® Turbo Boost Max Technology 3.0?
- Could you please screenshot the error message you are getting when installing the driver?
- What it the BIOS version you updated to?
Regards,
Amy.

After contacting MSI support it became clear that a full uninstall of ITBM would give the best result as utilizing ITBM was illogical given that I am using MSI's overclocking feature instead. I used Geek Uninstaller to force removal of ITBM and all errors have gone away.
Thank you for your reply!
